Hello out there in cyberradioland! The old Remix Radio online stream is dead, long live Public Radio Exchange: Remix Radio!

We had to take down the old internet stream while we concentrate our efforts on the XM 136 channel, but the online stream will be back very soon and everyone will be listening to the same thing at the same time. How refreshing. We’re busy meshing all the technologies so the piece and artist names will read out on your XM receiver and a log of what was just played updates here, but for now it’s going to be a little chaotic and nonannoted. But, I think you could do a lot worse than a radio station that’s actually surprising. In the meantime, if you’re just dying to find out more about what you heard, drop me a line–roman(at)prx.org– with a short description of the piece and the time you heard it, and I’ll try and track it down for you. Full service radio!

In case you’re not an XM radio subscriber, you can hear the two sample hours I made for the channel just to the right of this post. Hope you like them.
