One Hello World

One Hello World is the sort of project that makes you happy the internet exists. Regular people from all over the country call 316-247-0421 and share their intimate thoughts and experiences and an extremely talented, anonymous composer creates a soundtrack to the voicemail and releases it as a song on the One Hello World website. I think it may be the best thing in the world right now.
I still don’t know who is behind the project, but over email, I encouraged him/her to upload as many of the compositions as possible to PRX so I could play them all for you, and I’m happy to say we have nine pieces in rotation right now. I hope more are coming. This is pretty much why REMIX exists- create an open format so cool and amazing stories of all kinds can be heard.

I left my iPod home yesterday. So turned on the radio and discovered a new station. Tuned into KPBZ just as a OneHello World story was playing. I found it fascinating. I then listened to KPBZ every time I was in the car. What a great station! Love Remix! Might have to leave my iPod home for good!
